Who We Are

ApexData is built by engineers who spent 20 years preventing million-dollar-per-minute outages. Now we're making that expertise available to every development team.

Our Story

ApexData team

For years, we helped hundreds of companies keep their applications running. We know the reliability challenges their engineers face.

One pattern kept repeating: observability tools helped DevOps restore service, then left developers to figure out why it broke. We watched developers struggle with products designed for someone else, give up on platforms after months of training, and fall back to grepping through logs rather than hunting through scattered dashboards.

Developers deserve tools that work the way they think, the way they work, the way they solve problems. That's why we built ApexData.

You build the product. We build the clarity around it.

Our Vision

1

Observability should be intuitive

A tool that takes a month to learn has already failed.

You should not need a query language to investigate your own services. You should get answers immediately.

2

Observability should be adaptive

Application architecture changes constantly — new services, refactors, deployments.

ApexData tracks those changes so you never have to.

3

There is no single root cause

Modern applications are networks of dependencies. When something breaks, a chain of events ripples across services.

No system can reliably point to one root cause — that promise is false. We bring it all together so you understand the whole story.

4

AI still needs humans

We show you what we think is causing the issue. We do not pretend AI can do all the work.

Humans belong in the loop — by design, not by limitation.

Your engineers understand your system. We give them the data to make the call.

5

No vendor lock-in

Other vendors trap you with proprietary formats, custom query languages, and data you can't export.

Your observability data belongs to you. Export it. Use other tools alongside ours. We will never lock you in.

6

We're here for you

We learn your business, understand your stack, and know what matters to you.

The people who build the product handle your support.

When you call, we answer.
